Sustainability

At Florrie, we believe luxury fashion and environmental stewardship can go hand-in-hand. We aim to build sustainability into every aspect of our brand – from materials to packaging – so you can feel good wearing our shoes season after season.

Responsible Materials

Our collections are crafted using premium leathers sourced exclusively from Leather Working Group certified tanneries with silver or gold environmental ratings. We use Italian hides to minimise the carbon footprint of transport while ensuring excellent animal welfare standards. Some shoes are even made from upcycled fabrics. Our Lucia Mule in blue denim is made using worn out vintage jeans, giving new life to deadstock textiles.

Mindful Production

Our limited-run collections are designed in London and handmade in a family-owned atelier outside Florence, using generations-old artisanal techniques. We work closely with local suppliers and craftspeople to reduce emissions from production and transportation.

Enduring Quality

The ultimate sustainable product is one made to endure. Our shoes are designed with heirloom quality in mind – crafted from leathers, suedes and satins that gain character over time. With proper care, a pair of Florrie's can stay in your wardrobe for generations. When the time comes, a cobbler can recondition our shoes to extend their lifespan.

Conscious Packaging

Shipments use recyclable cardboard boxes sealed with paper tape. Each order includes a reusable pouch to protect your shoes. Our shoe boxes, tissue paper and collateral are printed on 100% recyclable FSC-certified paper. We aim to eliminate single-use plastics across all packaging.
