Our all time icon and fashion's golden girl, Polly Sayer got married this weekend wearing bespoke Florrie slingbacks.
We started work together on The Polly Slingback when she had decided on her two dresses; the first a sleek, minimalist design by The Own Studio, the second a statement mini with 80s flare from Bonbridé. We wanted to create something that would compliment both Polly's very different looks.
Polly was sure about a few things; she wanted a slingback, a touch of transparency, and a comfortable heel that she could dance all night in. We looked through vintage fashion books and magazines together for inspiration. There were lots of sketches and a few prototypes. We settled on a sleek pointed toe, whisper light organza detail and a delicate 75mm heel; a vision of ethereal beauty.
We loved working with Polly and are so proud of what we created together. Her bespoke slingbacks are now available in our bridal collection.
